Surf and Sand

We rolled the month of February out with a little trip to the beach. We left early on Saturday and arrived in Myrtle Beach (Cherry Grove) to dip our toes in the ocean.





We collected seashells and felt the ocean's breeze.















We ate ice cream and laughed, danced, and shopped.

















We had a seafood dinner and took a night time walk on the beach.



We went out in our pajamas for another ice cream run. We woke up on Sunday to the sound of the ocean. We visited a cool store and tried on funny hats.









We had a yummy breakfast at a local joint and we headed home. Just what we needed to say goodbye to February and eagerly await what surprises March might hold.

Reflections

I enjoy skimming back through my blog. It's fun to see what the girls looked like two or three years ago. Or what were we doing on the same date four years ago. 55 Years


Fifty-five years ago today my parents were married. I love the photos from their wedding. Happy Anniversary, mom and dad.
